LBD confirmed that it has recently launched a new range of products.

The products which include focaccia breads, steccas and toasta breads where launched into Marks and Spencers at the beginning of April. LBD General Manager, Donald McClymont said:

'We have some fantastic new focaccia breads made to an authentic recipe from the Italian region of Liguria, loaded with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and delicious toppings. The flavours include sea salt and rosemary, green olive, red onion and gruyere, roasted garlic and cheese and a focaccia selection pack.

We have also launched some ‘toasta breads’, which are a new product which can be eaten for breakfast or as a treat with a coffee. Toasta breads are thin, chewy pieces of sweet Italian bread loaded with rich dark chocolate or cinnamon and raisin, and then topped with lashings of butter and a dusting of sugar. All you need to do is pop into the toaster for a delicious snack in 2 minutes!

Additionally we have launched ‘steccas’, which are soft crispy strips of Focaccia style dough topped with tomatoes or olives. Ideal for dipping or snacking.'

The new products will form part of a high profile Italian bread relaunch taking place at M&S in April. It will involve press coverage and a TV ad campaign, so look out for our products on TV and in the press throughout April and May!

Donald added 'this is a major launch for us and has gone very successfully - I appreciate all the effort everyone has made in ensuring we got these high quality products out to our customer'.
